JOB TITLE: Production Assistant/WGCI

STATUS: Full Time

Essential Duties:

Voicing and producing commercial, spec spots, promotional announcements and PSA’s from start to finish as assigned.
Dubbing music or spots from CD, DAT, TAPE, MP3, Digital media or Internet into NexGen System.
Record air checks as needed for sales and promotions.
Recording talent, clients and studio guests for production purposes.
Work with the sales, traffic, promotions and programming staff as needed.
Complete any projects assigned by Production Director or Program Director.
Be creative with your work and make the commercials sound like hits.
Master all of the equipment used in the studio and all software applications used for production.
Report to the Production Director and Program Director.
Catalog and file all client commercials and production orders.
Maintain and organize production library.
Run missing spot report at the end of the day, audit commercial and music logs nightly.
Check log for V103, WGCI-FM, WGRB-AM (NexGen log must match paper log.)
Be available to fill in whenever anyone from the Production dept. is sick or on vacation.
Work hours are Monday thru Thursday 11AM-7PM and Friday 11AM-8PM but work hours may vary.
Check web streaming audio and banners for all 3 stations twice a day.
Make sure all spots are compliant with FCC standards.

Required Skills/Education & Certification:

· Knowledge of all FCC rules and regulations.

· Proficient in Prophet/NexGen systems and able to edit audio using Pro-Tools, Adobe Audition, and other editing programs
