Account Executive
Univision Radio is seeking an experienced radio Account Executive to join our staff of media and marketing professionals. This position requires a minimum of one to two years of experience in broadcast sales. This position is a “cluster” sales position and enables the salesperson to sell all Univision Radio formats, events, and online platforms.

To aggressively and professionally – market and sell Univision Radio products to all accounts (advertiser or agency) assigned to you, or being developed by you.
To meet or exceed all goals and expectations as outlined in your quarterly evaluation.
To properly service your accounts, including but not limited to: handling and overseeing all scheduling, creative needs and any related production requirements.
To produce and attend station remotes, van visits, etc. related to your accounts.
To diligently market and sell all special packages, features and events.
To aggressively pursue and develop New Business including non-traditional revenue opportunities.
To properly maintain all normal records and files related to your accounts.
To maintain all receivables, resolving any potential problems, before they go beyond 90 days from the billing month.
To maintain a positive attitude and enthusiastic spirit of cooperation that supports a team effort within the sales department, and all other departments .
To support and fulfill on a timely basis all business related requests by management.
To communicate with Univision Radio management on all sales issues, including forewarning them when, you may be unable to meet the above standards.
Looks and act in a professional way at all times.
Maintain positive working relationships with co-workers.
Remain calm and professional through stressful circumstances.
Persist and finish projects within specified deadlines.
Follow instructions as well as take steps necessary to prevent mistakes.
Other duties and additional expectations as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications for Consideration
Requires knowledge of formatting, proofreading, use of basic arithmetic, and filing.
Requires working knowledge of Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook software packages.
Requires good interpersonal skills.

Experience and Education
High School graduate, or equivalent, 4 year degree preferred

Necessary Language Skills
Able to communicate in Spanish & English, able to read and write in Spanish & English as well.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle, or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
